Albury Wedding Photography
We are so pleased to share Jaclyn & Ben’s stunning Albury Wedding at Pergrines Function Centre, located at the foot of Tabletop mountain. We have known Jac and Jac’s Family for a long time and it was such a special experience to be able to then capture one of the most important days of their young, vibrant lives. Congratulations Jac & Ben and thank you for making me part of your day.
Thank you to Jac & Ben for sharing the story of their day:
Ben and I were engaged in October 2016 in Sydney at Bronte Beach. Having a natural desire to control everything, my excitement levels to get planning were through the roof – what flowers will I have? What dress will I wear? What font will I use on all of my stationery? I started my list (which I was still adding to the week of my wedding) and set to work!
I’ve had the absolute privilege of knowing Jason for a number of years, he shot some Family Portraits for us a few years ago in Bright and I’ve known since then that I simply HAD to have him photograph our wedding. With our wedding date in mind we went to meet with Jason and locked it all in. Everything that followed for the next 18 months was a complete blur, but it was all worth it.
Our wedding day, simply put, was the most amazing day of my life. The crazy amount of love from everyone there just filled us with so much joy. From the get go, the girls from Wodonga Beauty Room and Temple Hair Salon looked after myself, my bridesmaids and my Mum and we all left the salon feeling very glamorous! Arriving home to find my STUNNING bouquets by Jannoel (I’m seriously obsessed) and a glass of bubbles helped calm my pre-wedding nerves however the “IT’S TIME TO GO” call from my dad got those butterflies back up and fluttering again!
Arriving at Peregrines at 3:30pm I had a lump in my throat and a knot in my stomach but I wasn’t nervous anymore – I was excited! Excited to see Ben and marry him in front of my nearest and dearest! Having my dad walk me down the aisle and turning the corner to see Ben standing there waiting is a moment I will never forget! Our MC Matt Burke officiated our ceremony just the way we wanted it, light hearted and to the point!
After the “official” duties were over, we set off with Jason to get some family photos, bridal party shots and also some photos of the newlyweds – us! Jason just made everything so easy for us and I trusted him 100% in his ability, he knew exactly where the best backdrops would be and where the best light falls at that time of day.
The reception was absolutely perfect. Our close friend and MC Xavier Martin did an outstanding job and our band, The Quinn Brothers, had everyone up and dancing and even reworked our first dance song for us so we had more time. The food from Peregrines was delicious and our cake from The Wright Macaron was something from the heavens (seriously if you haven’t tried them you are missing out!).
Our gorgeous bridal party made our night with their kind, funny and emotional speeches and we cannot thank them enough for supporting us and being with us on the journey that led us to our big day.
Our parents also made us tear up (I’m looking at you, Dad) with their heartfelt words, and I’m so grateful that Jason could capture these moments for us because they do truly mean so much. We’re both so blessed to have such wonderful, kind and caring parents and no words will ever express how much we appreciate all that they did for us leading up to and on our big day.
And finally, the biggest thank you to the worlds hardest working photographer – Jason Robins! A picture says a thousand words and the proof is in the pudding, our photos are next level stunning and I will never, ever get sick of looking at them. Jason was always professional, courteous, calm and most importantly, made sure I was okay and that we were having fun. I am so lucky to have such wonderful photos from the biggest and best day of my life and from the bottom of my heart, thank you Jason so much for everything you did for us.
And don’t think you can get rid of us that easy… we WILL be back for all those important events still to come in the future!
