Congratulations to Annie & Carl who were married in Bethanga followed by their Reception at Lake Hume Resort. Thank you for allowing us to capture your stunning day and we hope you images provide many happy memories for years to come.
Thank you to Annie & Carl for sharing some details of their day…
We had over two thirds of our wedding guests joining us from other cities around Australia and the world. As such, we chose our wedding venues to show off the beautiful natural landscapes and rustic countryside of Albury Wodonga that many people hadn’t seen before.
Our ceremony was held at St Francis Church, Bethanga – a small vintage church that looked untouched for several decades. We held our reception at Lake Hume Resort, which meant our guests could travel alongside the weir and over Bethanga Bridge and take in the stunning views of the lake.
We had a restored 1968 off-white Ford Fairmont and a 1972 yellow Celica for the bridal cars – while the groom, groomsmen and friends rode their Harley Davidson’s to and from the ceremony. Jason did a spectacular job of capturing every moment of our special day – from the boys with their motorbikes, to the bride and bridesmaids getting ready, and of course our picturesque setting of unspoilt Bethanga countryside and the sparkling Lake Hume.
It was important for us to find suppliers whom we could trust and feel comfortable with on the day. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of wedding photographers – Jason soldiered through the 39-degree heat while sharing plenty of laughs with the bridal party and making everyone feel at ease. Thanks to everyone who helped along the way to making our wedding day so special and memorable!
