Congratulations to Jess and Troy on their beautiful Pinnacle Valley Resort Wedding at the base of Mt Buller. The weather was Melbournesque complete with rain, thunderstorms, wind and finally warmth and sunshine. But there was nothing that could wipe the gorgeous smile from our beaming bride. Along with over 90 family and friends, Jess and Troy’s day was magnificent, including the gumboots and umbrellas! It was an absolute privilege to capture your amazing day and we know these images will be cherished for many years and generations to come.
Thank you to Jess for providing some insight into their day:
We chose Pinnacle Valley, Merrijig for our wedding after one visit with the incredible Kara and conveniently Jason, was there that day! (talk about meant to be). The views were breath taking and it was an opportunity for a weekend away with our friends and families. A beautiful friend gave me a very good piece of advice which I reflected on constantly the day of our wedding….. ” how often do you get to have ALL the people you love and care about in one spot – there to celebrate your love for each other” – it made me appreciate the day beyond what i ever expected.
My Wedding Dress was custom made and incorporated my something old, new, borrowed and blue. I’m a bit sentimental and knew from the get go that I wanted to incorporate something of my Nan’s. It wasn’t until my mum offered her dress to me and we together decided to alter the dress to create something spectacular that recognised all three generations wearing it.
The dress was designed and made by Deanna Fletcher of Albury
Flowers by Christine Clarke
Hair by Jodie Kiely and Jackie Morley
Little did I know that my mum would give me my Nan’s wedding ring the day of my wedding which I wore on my index finger, thanks for getting some beautiful shots of this Jase!

Troy and I got a little creative and designed and made the wedding invitations, wedding favours and a lot of the table decorations and signage. My incredible mum and amazing bridesmaids Alyssa and Jacqui were a huge help in styling the night before and my brother Tim in setting up props only minutes before the ceremony, once we knew whether we were washed out of not.
Credit is also due to the amazing flower girls Rylie and Audrey for making it down the aisle in one piece!!
